Travelodge Gravesend hotel

Used for a stop over after late ferry. Room was clean, well aired, air con, TV etc. Window insulated the motorway sound well. Staff were very welcoming and pleasant on arrival and departure. Kettle and brew area may benefit being on a tray to help contain small spillages. Some corrosion on bathroom chrome but overall for the price it is the best Travelodge I have stayed in. Use again gladly.

Great customer service by the receptionist. But not the best of experience as the free WiFi only works for 30 minutes, you then have to pay an extra 3 pounds to use the WiFi in the hotel for 24 hours. It's sad I have to pay to use the WiFi after paying over 40 pounds for a room.

Excellent, clean tidy with great service. Rooms are modern with tv and comfy bed. The Toby carvery in the same car park is a bonus. Supermarket within easy walking distance.

Came to this hotel for a weekend away with the family. We did not expect someone trying to get into our room. After hearing what sounded like someone trying to get into our room, I ended up going to the door to see what was going on I realised 2 ladies were trying to get in. At first I thought they had mistaken their room number and trying to get into the wrong room. The 2 lady’s had continued to try and get into the room which resulted in me having to open the door to explain someone was in here. I was shocked when I opened the door and it had been the same member of staff that had checked us in trying to get into the room. The member of staff had said she hadn’t realised we were in the room and was reprogramming the door! Ofcourse I was not happy about this as I was made to open the door in my pyjamas as I was ready for bed, otherwise the staff member would have gotten into our room. Both me and my partner had been getting ready to go to sleep. I wasn’t sure what to do about the situation so I had a conversation with a family member who works for travel lodge. My Nan then phoned the manager of the hotel, Owen who basically called me and my partner liars. Owen explained to my Nan that their staff had said my partner and I had stated our room key didn’t work so we went to sit in another room with our family whilst this was resolved and we had not been in the room at this time. This is proof that something odd was going on as this was far from the truth, our other family members who where also staying in the hotel had actually been asleep at this time. We did not tell them about this issue until the next day, we did not go and sit in their room nor did we tell any member of staff our key wasn’t working. Our key worked absolutely fine for the time we had been staying at the hotel. I wasn’t going to take this any further as it seemed like an innocent mistake, now after being called a liar I will be taking this further as this now makes me feel like this was no mistake and the staff where up to no good!

Lovely friendly staff and a comfortable room. This is a rooms only Travelodge although there is a Toby Carvery and Morrisons cafe on your doorstep for breakfasts. Dogs welcome which was great for us

So I’ve stayed at this Travelodge many time The staff are very helpful Raj Owen and Chantelle are always polite and helpful. I choose this traveler easy access to room and local shops

Stayed over night.theres a Toby carvery right in the same carpark.advise to book tho.right next door is a retail park with a lidl I think it was.and a morrisons.so that was very handy.there was a vending machine with some drinks & snacks in reception

Air con in the room was faulty and didn’t work but we didn’t need it at night but other than that, nice new and clean looking place to stay with large rooms, all round pretty good!

Happy with stay. Location is good just off the m25, their is a Toby carvery next to hotel if you fancy some food. Hotel looks new so overall condition is good. Only negatives are, when I sat down in room I seen rubbish under the bed, clearly visible so should of been seen by cleaners. (See pic) and the room doors slammed very hard to the point it actually makes your bed vibrant when the room next door leaves or enters room.

Decent place! Affordable, toby literally opposite, only thing was the air conditioning didn't work so room was a bit hot and stuffy but was a really decent room and staff were good aswell

Close to Gravesend and Bluewater shopping centre. The staff are friendly, the room was quiet and clean . Tea and coffee in the room together with a TV. There isn't a restaurant within the hotel but breakfast is available in the Toby Carvery which is a short walk from the reception.

It's a hotel chain so you know the type of standard you get. Supermarket nearby. Pub 1 min walk away which specialises in carvers.

Was easy to locate. Ample parking spaces and I must say the elevator was really efficient. All in all, I had a satisfactory experience. Only downside is no lounge nor dining area like at Thurrock. Breakfast was a cold park of cereal n milk.

Stayed here numerous times. Have always found it clean and pleasant with helpful staff. Ideally located tween Gravesend and Bluewater. Handy for public transport and motorways. Toby Carvery at the doorstep as well as Morrisons
